It’s been a while since I posted. The last time I wrote here it was about playing the lottery, as it’s one of my quiet obsessions.
It’s on my mind again.
I’ve learnt a lot about playing, a lot about number analysis and a lot about lottery systems since I last wrote.
One of the things that’s hit me most in this journey has been that some people want to help you and some just want to take your money and run. The sad part is that I’ve learnt there are a lot more of those ‘take your money’ mofo’s than there are the nice helpful people!
So when you find one of those good people you have to share the love (I know, I know, getting soppy in my older years).
I’ve quietly spent quite a lot of money on lottery systems, software and tools. Don’t tell the missus, she’ll be OK about it when I finally hit that jackpot. Maybe it’s just me but I expect a bit of help if I need it when I buy something from someone. They don’t have to hold my hand or anything, just answer the odd question if I get stuck. Surely that’s fair.
Why is it then that I can spend $200 on a system (again, don’t tell the missus…), get stuck, send a question and get totally ignored? That’s a decent amount of cash to spend on something that you just download and read. It’s all profit for them, so why can they not spare 2 minutes to help a bro out. Seems that’s the way this industry works on the whole because it’s happened to me over and over again.
There have been three notable exceptions to this that have been helpful. So I’m calling them out here.
First, the Lottery Post forum. There are some really helpful people in there that probably spend far too much time online. They definitely spend far too much time thinking about the lottery – I thought I was bad enough! They answer questions though and try to help. The only downside is that you don’t really know who really knows what the hell they are talking about. There are people on there with many thousands of posts (no exaggeration at all!) who are mad keen but talk total nonsense. Friendly, helpful and responsive – just don’t believe everywhere you read there!
Next up – Lottery Guy is the best lottery expert online. You won’t like everything he says because sometimes the truth isn’t what you want to hear. He won’t lie just to sell you some junk system. In fact he answered so many of my questions over a period of 6 months that I started feeling bad he hadn’t sold me ANYTHING. Everything he said made sense. I think the only thing he sells is his Strategy Group membership but he even told me NOT to join it because it wasn’t what I was looking for! He was right too because at the time I didn’t want to do the work, I just wanted ‘quick and easy’. It was probably a whole year after that I finally came back, having tried a lot of ‘quick and easy’ systems that didn’t work and that just took my money and ran. I gave in and decided to work harder at it. I joined his group and I can tell you from the inside that Lottery Guy’s Strategy Group is very good. It helps you build a lottery strategy to maximize your chances of winning the lottery. It’s all based on real stuff that makes sense which is what I love most about it. Well that and the fact he’s still patiently helping me with my questions. That’s how you do customer support and stand by your products.
Thirdly, I want to give a bit of a shout out to Expert Lotto. Those guys did help and were happy to answer some questions. I just didn’t get on well with their software and eventually decided it just wasn’t for me. Much better than most who just ignore you so if the tool looks like it would be something you would like, then it’s worth hanging in there.
There you have it – my expert personal opinion based on years of trying out lottery products and services. It’s a very short list (hope I haven’t forgotten anyone who was patient and helpful with me – shout out to me if so and I’ll happily add details here!).
